'Find the Joy'
About me
I'm Katie and have been practising Mindfulness for over 15 years. It is daily part of my life and has helped me to live in a space that is based on gratitude, acceptance, finding joy and living in the now.
I am a qualified Mindfulness Practioner and completed my teacher training in 2021 with Mindfulness Now. I also have extensive training in Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness.
I have been living with Fibromyalgia since 2019 and have found Mindfulness integral to maintaining my wellbeing, managing pain as well as the emotional side of the condition.
Over the past few years I have delivered mindfulness to a variety of people in groups and one to one.
Much of my recent work has been holding 8-week groups for survivors of sexual violence. I am trained in Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness, and inclusive and slower form of teaching which allows participants who may have found practising challenging before, to access the benefits of mindfulness & meditation. I teach with a trauma sensitive lens in all my work, regardless of what people may or have not have experienced in life. This approach helps people to feel safe, held and able to go at their own pace, whatever their background or experiences.
More recently I have received the Munay Ki Rites which has led to my practice expanding both personally and in what I can offer to others.
I am also trained to read Numerology including Life Paths and Yantra Squares.
My hope is to use any or all of the above to support individuals to find purpose, ways to approach life mindfully, develop self-compassion and beyond all, finding the joy in life. Please contact me for a free 20 minute consultation to find out more about working with me.
